From São Miguel
During the activity, you will have the opportunity to observe some of the dozens of species of cetaceans that are usually seen in the Azores. Although nature offers no guarantee, whales and dolphins are regularly seen during our half-day trips.
Together you will have the opportunity to observe turtles, birds and other marine species. Before the boat trip, the biologists of Futurism hold a small conference to explain what species of cetaceans can be observed, safety measures on board, how we respect animals and what rules of observation at sea. Some historical data will also be transmitted.
During the ride, each passenger is required to wear a lifejacket (except on the catamaran). Futurismo Azores Whale Watching offers coats and rain pants if needed.
